Ian joined Venluree in early 2011 after spending 25 years in the automotive industry specialising in Financial Business management and Sales & Marketing. He has a passion for Sales and has experienced numerous successes establishing green field organisations. His strengths lie in his ability to analyse a business and identify its potential and Venluree, is “one to get excited about”.
During his career, Ian has facilitated sales training seminars and business mentoring programmes and, has acquired a good understanding of what a company needs to offer in order for customers to want to buy. This positions him well for supporting and achieving the expansion plans that Venluree predict over the coming years.
What attracted Ian to Venluree, was management’s absolute commitment to providing superior customer service. This is a trait that Ian finds refreshing and considers it to be the true measure of any company’s success.
Ian’s certain that Venluree’s new image and marketing initiatives, along with the launch of its National Licensee Partnership programme, place the company well for considerable growth and success in the future.
Tarsis joined the company in 2003 in a production capacity and quickly learned about Venluree’s entire product range. Over the years, he worked in different areas of the manufacturing plant and due to his skill and work ethic, was promoted to Operations Manager 5 years ago. He enjoys working at Venluree as it is a long standing family business that prides itself on supplying great quality custom made products at affordable prices with superb service.
Tarsis’ strengths are in ensuring customers enjoy a pleasant and memorable experience when dealing with Venluree. To that end, his whole team are working hard to maintain Venluree’s growth and promise of delivering its products and service throughout New Zealand.
Born and raised in Auckland, Lois has been a fixture in the NZ Window Coverings industry since 1994, beginning as Commercial Sales Consultant, followed by promotion to Commercial Sales Manager. Prior to this, she spent seven years as Territory Sales Manager, Architectural Coatings for Courtauld International. Over many years, Lois has accumulated a working knowledge of how to get the best results when working with new technologies and designs. Achieving the best outcomes for her architectural and business clients is always her driving force.With a sound architectural and building industry client background, Lois has been able to apply her knowledge and expertise to working with Venluree’s broad customer base. She values the opportunity to support a proud NZ family owned company with many established customers and skilled people. She firmly believes, the company is well placed to continue building a strong, residential brand offering a quality product to its customers nationwide.
With a background in production, Rex was originally employed as an Installation Technician for Venluree six years ago. His mission is producing and installing products to a very high standard and to that end, he has implemented new production quality control programmes at Venluree to ensure this always happens. His reputation for outstanding service is the key ingredient to keeping a customer happy and Rex devotes his time to making sure that he regularly exceeds customer expectations.
Rex was promoted to the role of Production Manager due to his work ethic and attitude toward customers, along with his ability to manage staff and to create and maintain efficiencies within the organisation.
He enjoys working for a company that holds the same core values he does and is excited about continually servicing customer needs. His role in the business is pivotal to the success and current expansion plans of Venluree.
Bob is originally from Gisborne, where he could be found mostly barefoot and shirtless due to the amount of time he spent swimming, fishing and diving. His family eventually moved to Auckland in 1955 where he began working for the National Bank however, like many kiwis, he wanted to establish his own business and become independent. This led to his first business venture as the owner/founder of his own small lawn mowing business but this wasn’t particularly inspiring. He subsequently brought a Venetian Blind Cleaning business which over time, expanded and evolved into Venluree which has been a household name for over 45 years.
A lot of people have asked Bob why he has been so successful and his answer is simple, “Business is about people”. He’s always had a natural instinct for helping people and believes that whatever the challenge, there is always a solution.
